Tax Administrative Assistant

REQUIRED AND KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferred Experience:
    • Prior experience working in a CPA Firm.
    • Strong Mircosoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Tax software experience.
       
  • Immediate Job Duties:
    • Assemble tax returns.
    • Print and assemble tax returns and save the return to our electronic filing system through tax software.
    • Experience processing tax returns.
    • Prepares and returns orginal tax documents to client.
    • Transmits documents, such as PDF copies of return, estimated payments as requested by tax signer.
    • Helps with preparing the engagement letters and updating spreadsheet when needed.
    • Provide frontline and backup support to the tax deparment.
    • Confers with clients by telephone in attempt to determine status of tax returns.
    • Assist in resolving E-file errors by contacting the signer.
    • Order tax department supplies as needed.
    • Ability to work addtional hours as needed.
    • Assist in organizing and coordinating arrival of client documents.
