Women in Construction Donate to M.D. Anderson
Harper & Pearson Company, P.C. Employees Support Cancer Research
HOUSTON – The Houston Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction recently donated $4055.00 to The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
The contribution from NAWIC Houston will assist Multidisciplinary Research Programs including bone disease, head and neck cancers and prostate cancer.
Breaking last year’s record donation, tournament chair Karen Harsh, CPA, and tournament publicity committee member Kristina Hoang, CPA, both of Harper & Pearson Company, P.C., are proud to serve on the board of an organization like NAWIC Houston that promotes a commitment to community.
The association hosted its annual fundraiser golf tournament benefiting M.D. Anderson at Cypresswood Golf Club on March 21, 2005.
