HOUSTON – Harper & Pearson Company, P.C. is happy to announce Certified Public Accountant, Tonja Rodriguez has recently been named coordinating director for the CPA’s Helping School’s Committee of the Houston CPA Society. Rodriguez currently serves on the board of directors for the organization. It is fitting that she was appointed to this specific committee given that Rodriguez works primarily with non-profit clients.

Rodriguez is very dedicated to the Houston CPA Society and Harper & Pearson Company, P.C. will be participating in this year’s CPA Gala. The proceeds raised at this event will benefit the CPA Society’s accounting scholarship fund and the CPA’s Helping Schools committee.

The CPA Society gala will take place on February 18, 2006 at the Briar Club of Houston. It will follow a casino theme and Harper & Pearson Company, P.C. has committed to sponsor a gaming table.
