Two Tax Consulting Practices Merge with Prominent Houston Accounting Firm
Houston – Harper & Pearson Company, P.C. recently added two new associates to its dynamic team of accounting professionals – Kathy Devine and Nathan Cabaniss. This also represents the merger of two tax consulting practices, Kathy B. Devine Company, P.C. and Nathan Cabaniss of Cabaniss, Horn & Passmore, P.C., into Harper & Pearson Company, P.C., building on their strong tax and compliance services.
A Houston resident, Devine will serve as shareholder in the tax department, handling tax and financial planning for privately held businesses and their officers. She will also take an active role in advising physicians, self-employed professionals and retired professionals in their financial goals and preparation. Previous to joining Harper & Pearson Company, P.C. she was the president of Kathy B. Devine Company, P.C. a tax-consulting firm.
Cabaniss will provide tax consulting for high-income, net-worth individuals. Previous to joining Harper & Pearson Company, P.C. he was the president of Cabaniss, Horn & Passmore, P.C., a tax-consulting firm for more than 22 years. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Texas society of CPAs and is a past president of the Houston Society of CPAs.
